PLAYCE is a tennis and padel scoring app available for phones and supported watches. The product includes mobile apps for iOS and Android, plus watch-based scoring support for Wear OS and Garmin where available.

This policy describes how PLAYCE handles data across its supported mobile and watch experiences.

Data processed by the app

PLAYCE can process match score data, player names entered by the user, match duration, timestamps used for local history and sync retries, technical sync identifiers such as idempotencyKey, device connectivity state, and purchase or entitlement state used to unlock Premium features where those features are offered.

How the data is used

The app uses this data to run the live score counter on your phone or supported watch, sync match results between a watch and paired phone, store match history locally on your device when history features are available, prevent duplicate inserts during sync, show match details and stats, generate shareable match summary images when you explicitly share them, and restore or validate Premium entitlement.

Data sharing

PLAYCE does not operate its own backend for match storage. Match data is primarily stored locally on your devices. When watch sync is used, match data may be exchanged between your supported watch and paired phone through the platform connectivity layer, such as Google Play Services Wearable Data Layer for Wear OS or Garmin Connect IQ / Garmin Connect Mobile for Garmin devices.

If you purchase Premium features, payment and entitlement processing may be handled by the relevant app store or platform provider, such as Apple App Store, Google Play, or their payment services. If you explicitly share a match card or export, the selected destination app or service receives the content you choose to share.

Diagnostics and analytics

PLAYCE may include diagnostics or analytics services in some app builds, including Firebase services. Diagnostic information such as crash traces, app version, device model, operating system version and related technical metadata may be processed to improve app stability and help diagnose failures.

Usage events may also be processed to understand general app usage and product performance. Platform providers such as Apple, Google and Garmin may process app distribution, purchase, crash, device or connectivity metadata according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Local storage

PLAYCE stores data locally on your devices. The phone app can store match history, settings and entitlement state locally. Supported watch apps can store live match state and pending sync state used for retry and acknowledgment handling. You can remove locally stored data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app from your devices.

Data deletion request

If you want to request deletion of data associated with your use of PLAYCE, send an email to atiliogmaculus@gmail.com with the subject line PLAYCE Data Deletion Request.

Because PLAYCE stores match history locally on your devices and does not operate its own backend for match storage, you can also delete locally stored data at any time by clearing app data, deleting local app data where the operating system allows it, or uninstalling the app from your devices.

Data not requested directly by PLAYCE

PLAYCE does not require account creation for core scoring. In the current implementation, PLAYCE does not directly require precise location, contacts, microphone or camera access.
